When entering Winter Lane, maintain a speed of 10 mph- be mindful of neighbors and children playing. Be respectful of property and land of YBR. Do not spin wheels or dugout holes. Keep the dust down and the rocks on the ground.
Please try to avoid using STONESIFER RD. Potential trespassing charges could be issued if accessed. ONLY use WINTER LN.
Be respectful to Young’s BackWoods Mud Crew, Guests, and Property
ALL people (drivers, crew members, spectators, children) entering Young’s BackWoods Racing (YBR) MUST review and sign a waiver form BEFORE entering the property of YBR. If you have underage children, the parent or guardian MUST sign and print for EACH child.
YBR is Private Property. Any person on this property without the permission of YBR owners is guilty of trespassing and subject to penalties by law. By signing the waiver form you have been given the access to this property, for the signed event only – YBR Crew Members have the right to revoke this access at any time. The registration/entry/official and/or all Mud Crew at YBR have the authority to refuse entry/registration fees and to revoke credentials for any participant or spectator whom they believe has fraudulently violated the entry/registration procedures. And the authority to ask any person to leave the event for any reason they deem
necessary for the safety of YBR and YBR’s guests.
Park where the parking director directs you to park. If there are barriers/cones/safety fence this means, do not enter or park.
Must always wear an event wristband. NO EXCEPTIONS... If you are found not having a wristband you will need to purchase one or be asked to leave the event.
During the event if there are any issues that need to be addressed, please go directly to the YBR Mud n’ Stuff building or find a Mud Crew member (PINK SHIRT)—DO NOT GO TO OFFICIALS DURING A RACE!
All medical Emergencies go directly to the EMS truck on scene.
DO NOT walk under/over any fences- they are there for you and Young’s BackWoods Safety.
NO spectator is allowed in the staging area. NO Crew Member without a wristband and signed waiver form on file is allowed in the staging area. If any person is found in the staging area without a wristband and waiver signed on file, you will be asked to leave the event with NO refund.

Random cooler checks

NO Weapons, Firearms, Knives- even if you have a right to carry.

NO ATV’s!!! Dirt bikes, golf carts, etc.

All children MUST be supervised. Our Event is family friendly. Your kids are your responsibility.
Sale of any items is prohibited. Unless you are an approved, licensed Vendor approved and on file with YBR.
Any items left on our property after 5 days then becomes the property of Young’s BackWoods.
By entering Young’s BackWoods Events, you give us permission to use photos and videos of you and your vehicle for track/event promotion purposes. All photos and video products are property of Young’s BackWoods Racing (YBR).

Before Every Race begins at YBR ALL participants are to stand and remove hats during the National Anthem. ALL vehicles MUST be stopped with motors off.
All trucks competing in the race are to go directly to the Pit area to be tech inspected.
ALL vehicles are subject to inspection by an official at any time and in any manner determined by the officials.
ONLY the Drivers Truck, 1 Trailer, and 1 Vehicle will be allowed in the pit. All other crew member vehicles will park in general parking.
UNLOAD vehicle to be Inspected. * NO vehicle will be inspected on trailer.
Driver MUST Notify Tech Inspector and Race Official if running alcohol fuel.* Fire Suit Required if running alcohol fuel.
Tech Inspector will mark the Classes your truck has passed inspection and rules for that you are eligible to Race and Register for.
ALL Racing vehicles MUST remain in the pit area after being inspected. Moving of the vehicle is subject to disqualification.
Tech will Inspect vehicle and give you an Inspection checklist Form to bring to Registration
Check that your form has the Techs Signature and driver information filled in before heading to
Registration. If your form is incomplete, this could cause disqualification. You will be turned away if the form is not complete and you do not have your crew member with you. YBR Registration Mud Crew are not responsible for filling out forms or accepting incomplete forms. If form is incomplete, this could cause for disqualification.
Drivers choose 1 (One) Crew Member to go to Registration with you. This Crew Member will be the ONLY other person allowed in the staging area with you. You and the Crew Member will receive Pit wristbands from Registration and BOTH Driver and Crew Member will need to sign a Waiver to be allowed in the Staging area. DO NOT go to registration w/out your Crew Member.
If any person is found in the staging area without a Pit wristband and a SIGNED Waiver on file said person will be told to leave YBR event and without a refund. -ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS
Drivers have your Inspection form and your 1 Crew Member with you at registration. BOTH the Driver and 1 (One) Crew Member need to sign up at registration TOGETHER and both driver and Crew Member will receive a ’Pit’ wrist band, and BOTH must sign a waiver form-NO EXCEPTIONS
YBR Registration Mud Crew are not responsible for filling out forms or accepting incomplete forms. If form is incomplete, this could cause for disqualification.
1 Registration form for EACH class racing MUST be COMPLETED by the Racer, on file and fees paid-NO EXCEPTIONS.
If pre-registered for a second race and/or class and your truck breaks there will be NO Refunds- you will be issued a ‘Broke Ticket’ for the next Mud Bog Event.
Trucks may be registered (2) two times per class with different drivers. Must register at same time.
The fastest pass will be placed.
POWDER PUFF- Male/Female drivers registered in same class driving same truck, truck will be placed both times.
All Racers are required to be in the designated Pre-Staging area for race line up/race 15
minutes prior to scheduled race start of each class.-NO EXCEPTIONS.
Once the truck has entered the staging area, the driver MUST stay with the truck.
ONLY the Driver and 1 (One) Crew member are allowed in the Staging area.
PROTESTS:
Fee is 200 per item in whatever class it pertains to. Protestors must go to the registration booth fill out protest form COMPLETELY and hand in the fee. Any protest must be made before the 1st truck in class enters the mud hole. The protestors truck will be checked first and then the protested competitor’s truck will be checked. **If the protested is found legal, they will receive $100, and YBR track will receive the remaining $100.** If the protested is found illegal, the protestor will receive $100 back and YBR track will receive the remaining$100.Race Official has FINAL say-Official MUST COMPLETE form and sign- Protestor, Protested and YBR are all to receive a copy of Protest formfully completed, signed and decision.
Driver’s meeting is mandatory or be DQ’d.
It is the responsibility of the driver/racer, not Young’s Backwoods Racing to ensure that he/she
maintains, wears, and properly uses protective clothing, that neck restraints are correctly installed and properly used, that seat belt restraints are correctly installed, maintained, and properly used. The driver/racer is solely responsible for the effectiveness and knowledge of safety equipment installed and used during an event.
Fire Extinguisher MUST be in truck and accessible and must be in working order and mounted. Must pass tech inspection
Helmets MUST be worn during the race
Seat Belts MUST be worn during the race
MUST have a working brake system in good condition
Battery MUST be securely mounted (No bungee cords or ratchet straps)
Open top or soft top MUST have roll cage protection
Passengers are only permitted with kids 12 and under
Fire resistant suits, gloves and shoes are Highly Recommended
Fire suit is Required if running alcohol fuel
Drive Shaft loop recommended on all race vehicles.
Must have driver in truck when running on Jack Stands
Racers under 16 must have parent or guardian on site, with a signed waiver at registration
ALL trucks must have a good cable hook up. Must be easy for officials to hook you up to a 4” hook.
If First truck in each class takes cable, then ALL trucks in class must take cable tie
If you don’t take cable and you get stuck, YOU will hook up the cable
ATVs are NOT permitted unless to bring vehicles to the staging lane and back to the pit area
For Full Payouts there MUST be more than 20 trucks registered in the Class- NO EXCEPTIONS
Broke Tickets will be issued ONLY. NO Refunds
No Refunds- If you break between classes registered to race you will be issued a ‘Broke Ticket’ for the next
race event at YBR.
The safety of competitors and fans is a top priority. Please conduct yourself in a professional manner.
Please be careful when moving your vehicle around the grounds. This is a family event with children
Do not tear up the fields or property of YBR w/ burn outs, high speed driving, etc. in the pits.
The speed limit in the Pits is idle. Violators will be fined $75 each offense and DQ’d on the
second offense and asked to leave the property with no refund
DISQUALIFICATIONS:
You will NOT be permitted to race if you appear to be D.U.I.
Jumping the green flag/light
Making changes after inspection, which is not approved for your division, all trucks subject to inspection at
any point. Failure to pass inspection is a DQ.

Tie Breaker—Race off option between tied trucks. The race will be performed at the end of the following class.

prize money will be combined per place and split with drivers. Flip coin for trophy
